Georges Fergusson
Brother George Fergusson was born in Port-Of-Spain, Trinidad on June 21, 1950 to parents, Awkright Fergusson and Margaret Rose. Brother Fergusson has 12 siblings – 10 sisters and 2 brothers. In 1975, he immigrated to Canada to marry his wife, Elizabeth Kydd, settling in the city of Montreal, Quebec.
Shortly after arriving, the Lord called Brother Fergusson to pastor a small church in downtown Montreal with a handful of believers. Brother George spoke English and had to quickly learn French. A group of believers in Shawinigan, Quebec asked Brother Fergusson to pastor their small group in the late 1970’s. Along with the church in downtown Montreal, Brother Fergusson traveled for many years between both churches, ministering to numerous French-speaking families.
By the mid-1980’s, Brother Fergusson was preaching and pastoring close to a dozen small churches scattered throughout the province of Quebec. Many French-speaking families accepted the message of Malachi 4 and dedicated their hearts and lives to the Lord.
In 1986, Brother Joseph Branham felt led of the Lord to ask Brother Fergusson to work with, what was known at the time, Spoken Word Ministries. Throughout the years, the Lord has used Brother Fergusson to help grow the French work: translating the books and tapes of Brother William Marrion Branham and travelling to multiple French-speaking countries around the world to distribute the materials. Several years later, Brother Joseph renamed the missionary distribution, Voice of God Recordings.
Brother Fergusson has four daughters and seven grandchildren, and still resides in Quebec with his wife, Sister Elizabeth. He continues to pastor the church in Shawinigan and enjoys fishing, traveling, and fellowshipping with believers from all walks of life.
